Beaches in Raigad district
Alibaug Beach:
This is the main beach. The beach is flat and long. Tourists visit here in large numbers on weekends. The sand of the beach is a bit black and white. A fort called Colaba stands out at a short distance from the beach. Ferry service is also available to go to this fort and if it is low tide, you can also go on foot. Navgaon Port – Beach:
Navgaon Beach is known as one of the very ancient beaches in Alibaug taluka. Navgaon Beach is just 7 to 8 kilometers away from Alubagh. Navgaon Beach was first known as Navedar, later it is now known as Navgaon. Navgaon Beach is mostly known as a famous beach for fishing. Kashid Beach:
50 km from Alibaug on the Alibaug-Murud highway. It is also the cleanest and most beautiful beach in the ‘white sand’ area. Mandwa Beach:

Kihim Beach:
Kihim beach has a lot to offer to all nature lovers, such as wild flowers and rare butterflies and birds. The must-see Colaba Fort is a furlong away from the shore. About 15 km from Alibaug is the historic village of Chaul, which has a Portuguese settlement, Buddhist caves, a hamam, a church, and a Jewish synagogue.
Harihareshwar Beach:
The breeze on the beach, the soft sand, and the soft sand attract visitors. A variety of food samples are available here. The nearest railway stations for all tourist destinations are Mumbai (CST), LTT, Kurla Terminus, Pune Railway Station and Panvel Railway Station (in Raigad district) on the main lines of Indian Railways. The nearest railway stations of Konkan Railway in Raigad district are Pen, Roha, Veer etc. Panvel Junction is the most important railway station in the district. It is connected to Mumbai (Harbour Line and Central Railway Main Line), Thane (Trans Harbour Line), Roha, Vasai (Western Railway). There is a “narrow gauge” railway line from Neral to Matheran, called the Matheran Hill Railway.
By Road
By Road All the major cities and tourist destinations in Raigad district are connected by road via Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) buses. Raigad district is connected to Mumbai by the Sion-Panvel Expressway. The Mumbai-Pune Expressway and National Highway 4 pass through Panvel, Khalapur and Khopoli. National Highway 17, which starts at Panvel, passes through the entire district via Poladpur.
